Welcome to cooler (and hopefully storm free) weather as we move through the FALL months. Although it has been a difficult year, the days have flown by and difficult as it is to believe, the Holiday Season is just around the corner. This year we will hold the Holiday Market for three (3) weekends.
The Holiday Market is scheduled to run December 5 & 6, 12 & 13 and the 19 & 20. Lights and advertising are scheduled to be installed shortly and we hope this years Holiday Market will prove to be a successful one for all!
WE ASK FOR YOUR CONTINUED COOPERATION regarding Louisiana’s OPEN SAFELY PHASE 3:
Per the Office of the Governor and Open Safely:
Despite some misinformation being shared, the Governor’s public health emergency order REMAINS in effect at this time, and you should continue to adhere to the guidelines associated with it. While there has been a challenge to the Governor’s order, it is still in place while this is being worked out in the courts. Louisiana remains in Phase 3 and the statewide mask mandate is still in place.
Enforcement efforts do continue across the safety of your customers and staff. We appreciate your commitment to remain Open Safely and for all of the hard work you are doing to slow the spread of the coronavirus in Louisiana.
IMPORTANT NOTICES:
Convenience Fees: Due to rising fees and charges from credit card companies beginning January 1, 2021 the Lafayette Jockey Lot will begin charging a 3.5% convenience fee to all monies collected via Credit Card.
MAINTENANCE REPAIRS:
TARPS: If you are a vendor who currently uses a tarp at your booth and are considering replacing it, please contact the Market Office prior to replacing. New regulations require these tarps to be specific in color and fire code.
General Maintenance: Should you experience a maintenance issue please report it to the office as soon as possible.
FREE VENDOR BISCUIT DAY:
It pays to open promptly! Sunday, November 29th will be this month’s FREE VENDOR BICUIT DAY!
FREE COFFEE:
FREE COFFEE continues to be available each Saturday from 8am to 10am and Sunday from 9am to 11am. Due to OPEN SAFELY restrictions, coffee will now be available at the Restaurant window. Please let the server know you would like a complimentary cup of coffee. (It is now required that we dispense the coffee in our lidded cups only.)

The “TIPSY JOCKEY” now has new Daiquiri flavors! Stop by and sample the Pina Colada. Tap Beer is now available as well. Sit, relax, watch a little football, and enjoy a cool adult beverage and snack. Wine is also available!
