WELCOME to JUNE and summertime weather! Children are experiencing the freedom of NO SCHOOL and family BBQ’s and vacations have begun. At the Lafayette Jockey Lot preparations are underway for our ANNUAL BLOCK PARTY on JUNE 12th. After a dull 2020 Summer, the Jockey Lot is ready to kick off 2021 in style!

If you are looking for a fun family activity – the Jockey Lot will be the place to be on June 12th ! The 2021 ANNUAL BLOCK PARTY is scheduled for SATURDAY June 12 th from 10am -5pm. This year’s family friendly festivities will include, LIVE Music, Food, Raffles (for customers), Kid’s Games, Bouncy Houses, a Mechanical Bull, FREE Face Painting, Balloon Art and so much more. Vendors should be prepared for a busy day of successful sales!

Coming in July

Throughout the month of July, the Lafayette Jockey Lot will be honoring our military. All active military and veterans are eligible to receive a FREE outdoor booth space for one (1) weekend anytime during the month of July. If you know a veteran who would like to try their hand at being a vendor, please help us encourage them to participate.

Outside Spaces 300 & 400 Sections (east side of building):

These spaces are not covered and do not include electricity; Vendors are also required to provide their own table. (Tents are welcome) Please come to the office for rental payment and booth space assignment on Saturday or Sunday prior to set-up. Vehicles must be parked in the general parking area. These spaces are 10’ x 10’ and are $10.00 per day.

• Current Vendors – These spaces are first come- first serve. If you wish to reserve the space adjacent to your current covered space, you must contact the office on the Sunday prior when you are paying next week’s rent or risk having another individual rent this space.
• Current Vendors please unload promptly as someone else may have rented that outdoor space and is eagerly awaiting to set-up their wares.
• Current Vendors – If you wish to park in the outdoor space, you must rent the outdoor space.

BOOTH PAYMENTS:

Vendors are encouraged to pay their Booth Rental Fees early on Sunday to avoid the rush, long line at the window and potential Late Fees later in the afternoon.

MAINTENANCE REPAIRS:

General Maintenance: Should you experience a maintenance issue please report it to the office as soon as possible.

FREE VENDOR BISCUIT DAY:

It pays to open promptly! Sunday, JUNE 27th will be this month’s FREE VENDOR BICUIT DAY!

FOOD SERVICE – WHAT’S NEW!

NEW AT THE TIPSY JOCKEY BAR – Fresh, HOT Soft Pretzels are now available for just $3.00! Buttery, salty goodness and a cool beer – hard to resist on a warm summer day!

BLOCK PARTY SPECIALS

On Saturday June 12 th the Concession Stand will offer $1 ice cream cones

700 FOOD COURT

Our long-anticipated FOOD COURT has officially opened in the 700 Section! We are excited to be offering more food options for Customers and Vendors alike! Come check it out for some DELICIOUS SEAFOOD, COOL FRUIT CUPS, DOWN HOME SOUTHERN SELECTIONS, OUTSTANDING BBQ and TASTY SWEETS. And that’s just a few of your choices!
