HELLO SEPTEMBER!

Thank you to all the Vendors who rode out the hot and humid months of July and August with us. It was not easy, but we made it! September weather brings cooler temperatures, routine as kids have returned to school and believe it or not the planning for Fall activities.

Each September the Lafayette Jockey Lot honors our loyal Vendors with a complimentary Vendor Breakfast. This year we will also have the honor of celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Jockey Lot. 20 YEARS – quite an accomplishment for Staff and Vendors alike! The Vendor Breakfast will be held on Sunday, September 26th from 8:00am -9:30am. VENDORS – Please use the coupon attached at the bottom of the newsletter to redeem your FREE breakfast.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS for September 25th when the new Bier Garden and entertainment Tents and our new KID ZONE (non-alcoholic bar) opens with music, food, drink and fun for the whole family!

COMING IN OCTOBER:

Fall will be here before we know it and so will the ANNUAL LAFAYETTE JOCKEY LOT FALL GARAGE SALE! This years’ FALL GARAGE SALE is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 30th from the hours of 8am – 5pm. Spaces can be reserved for the bargain price of just $10 (per space). The Garage Sale will take place in the back grassy area as in past years with LIVE music in the front entertainment area.

There will be FREE Balloon Art and Face Painting for the kids as well as Food and Drink Specials. Vendors should be prepared for a busy selling weekend! Spaces are limited and are first come first serve – so sign up soon!!

BOOTH PAYMENTS:
Vendors are encouraged to pay their Booth Rental Fees early on Sunday to avoid the rush, long line at the window and potential Late Fees later in the afternoon.

MAINTENANCE REPAIRS:
General Maintenance: Should you experience a maintenance issue please report it to the office as soon as possible.

FOOD SERVICE – What’s New!
700 FOOD COURT – Our long-anticipated FOOD COURT has officially opened in the 700 Section! We are excited to be offering more food options for Customers and Vendors alike! Come check it out for some DELICIOUS SEAFOOD, COOL FRUIT CUPS, DOWN HOME SOUTHERN SELECTIONS, OUTSTANDING BBQ and TASTY SWEETS. And that’s just a few of your choices! We warn you….it will be hard to decide just what to try!
