The start of our HOLIDAY MARKET is here! Santa will arrive on December 4 th and will be in the holiday tent from December 4th thru the 19th . As in past years, donations of non-perishable food items and unwrapped toys will be collected for the Louisiana Youth Initiative. We are anticipating a high volume of shoppers and encourage Vendors to be prepared for a very busy shopping season. Please remember to let your customers know that items they purchase at the market qualify for FREE Gift Wrapping!

Coming Events

Throughout the entire month of January, the Lafayette Jockey Lot will encourage shoppers to enter our “HOLIDAY RELIEF RAFFLE”. Customers over the age of 18 will be eligible to enter each weekend through-out the month. On January 30:

ONE LUCKY WINNER will receive $1000 CASH!

Vendor Advertising

The Jockey Lot Flea Market has been working with two great advertising sources over the past year. These individuals are now available to our vendors as sources to promote their business.

    Kardboardkreations@yahoo.comTaylor offers graphics creations, assisting you with business cards, logos and banners. Most of what you see at the Jockey Lot are her creations.
  • We Are Video: Ronnie Smith (337) 565-7824
    Usadigi.comRonnie has produced several videos for the Lafayette Jockey Lot currently used on our website and Television advertising. He offers a great rate for Vendor Commercials!

IMPORTANT NOTICES:
Opening/Closing Times: Beginning January 1, 2022, any Vendor not opening or not opening promptly for two consecutive weeks risks losing their booth space. Should a Vendor not open promptly a fine of $15 per booth per week will be imposed.

Booth Rental Rates: The Lafayette Jockey Lot has not increased Booth Rental Fees for several years. Beginning January 1, 20222 a nominal fee increase will go into effect. Vendors will be personally notified in writing the first week of December to prepare for their new rental rates effective January 1, 2022.

Trash Disposal: Please remember that what comes with a Vendor Leaves with a vendor. Trash barrels are for customer use and not disposal of your unwanted items. A $25 trash Fee will be. Imposed to Vendors who abuse the trash locations.

MAINTENANCE REPAIRS:
General Maintenance: Should you experience a maintenance issue please report it to the office as soon as possible.

Booth Space: Please be reminded that the yellow floor markings outline the perimeters of your rented booth space. Fire Dept. regulations require you not exceed these dimensions as appropriate aisle space is required for safety purposes.

FREE VENDOR BISCUIT DAY:
It pays to open promptly! Sunday, December 26 th will be this month’s FREE VENDOR BICUIT DAY!

FREE COFFEE
FREE COFFEE continues to be available each Saturday and Sunday.

RAFFLE DONATIONS:
Throughout the Holiday Market weekends, Vendors wishing to promote their Booth through a Raffle item, may drop of their item at the information desk for daily raffles. An Announcement will be made promoting your booth and customers can sign-up through-out the day for an hourly raffle give-away.
