Happy July to All!

Thank you to all the Vendors who have braved the crazy weather these past few weeks have held for us – Heat, Humidity and Rain and more Rain and more Rain……will it ever end!

During the entire month of July, we will be honoring our Veteran’s and First Responders. Any Veteran or First Responder is eligible for a FREE outdoor Space for 1 weekend of their choice in July. On July 10/11 and 17/18 there will be FREE coffee and Donut Holes at the information desk from 8am -11am

COMING IN AUGUST:
Believe it or not the start of the School Year will be just around the corner and on August 1st the Jockey Lot will host Delta Media’s 1st Annual Backpack Give-A -Way! 75 Backpacks (first come first serve basis) will be given away between the hours of 10am and 12pm compliments of Telemundo Lafayette.

AUGUST 21st BLOOD DRIVE
The Lafayette Jockey Lot will be pairing with Lourdes Blood Donor Center on Saturday August 21st. The Blood Mobile will be on-site at the Lafayette Jockey Lot accepting Blood Donations from the hours of 8am – 12noon. All donors will receive a free t-shirt, a coupon for a free small ice cream cone and an opportunity to win a $20 Market Buck Coupon. As many of you may know, our good friend and co-worker Gene Medlen suffered a severe injury in late May. It will be a long road to recovery and he now also faces mounting medical expenses. With all donations Lourdes will donate $27 toward his ever growing medical bill. Anyone donating at the Blood Center can also contribute by simply giving Gene’s name and date-of-birth. Should you wish to do so, please inquire at the office for the necessary information.

Outside Spaces 300 & 400 Sections (east side of building):
These spaces are not covered and do not include electricity; Vendors are also required to provide their own table. (Tents are welcome) Please come to the office for rental payment and booth space assignment on Saturday or Sunday prior to set-up. Vehicles must be parked in the general parking area. These spaces are 10’ x 10’ and are $10.00 per day.

• Current Vendors – These spaces are first come- first serve. If you wish to reserve the space adjacent to your current covered space, you must contact the office on the Sunday prior when you are paying next week’s rent or risk having another individual rent this space.
• Current Vendors please unload promptly as someone else may have rented that outdoor space and is eagerly awaiting to set-up their wares.
• Current Vendors – If you wish to park in the outdoor space, you must rent the outdoor space.

BOOTH PAYMENTS:
Vendors are encouraged to pay their Booth Rental Fees early on Sunday to avoid the rush, long line at the window and potential Late Fees later in the afternoon. Please pay by 3:00PM to avoid a LATE FEE (PLEASE NOTE THE NEW TIME)

MAINTENANCE REPAIRS:
General Maintenance: Should you experience a maintenance issue please report it to the office
as soon as possible.

FREE VENDOR BISCUIT DAY:
It pays to open promptly! Sunday, JULY 25th will be this month’s FREE VENDOR BICUIT DAY!
